Stanley Cup champion Tomas Kaberle has joined the Scotiabank® Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer team!
The second-highest scoring defenceman in Toronto Maple Leafs history, Tomas Kaberle joined the team from his native Czech Republic in 1998-99. During his 12th NHL season, he was dealt to the Boston Bruins, and went on to win the Stanley Cup. Tomas concluded his NHL career with stints in Carolina and Montreal, but not before collecting 563 points (87 goals and 476 assists) in 984 regular season games. Through his NHL career, he played in four All-Star Games, including 2008 when he won the league’s Accuracy Competition. Internationally, Tomas won gold (2005) and silver (2006) at the World Championships for the Czech Republic and collected Olympic bronze with his home country in 2006.
