High-scoring Calder Trophy winner Steve Vickers has joined the Scotiabank®

After an All-Star career with the junior Toronto Marlboros, Steve Vickers spent ten seasons in the NHL, all with the New York Rangers. Joining the Rangers in 1972-73, Steve scored 30 goals, including back-to-back hat tricks, and was named the Calder Trophy recipient as the league’s best rookie that season. He scored 30 or more goals in each of his first three seasons, including a 41-goal campaign in 1974-75, and was named to the NHL’s Second All-Star Team for his efforts. The next season, he set a team record by collecting 7 points in a game against the Washington Capitals. Steve finished his career with 246 goals and 340 assists through his 698 regular season NHL games, and was ranked the 18th
best Ranger of all-time in ‘100 Ranger Greats.’
