Countdown to event Toronto 10.01.16

Former Toronto Maple Leaf tough guy Kevin Maguire has joined the Scotiabank® Road Hockey To Conquer Cancer team!
Kevin Maguire joined the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1986-87 and although he played in just 17 games, he collected 74 penalty minutes. Plucked off the waiver wire by the Buffalo Sabres the next season, Kevin enjoyed a career-best campaign in 1988-89 when he scored 8 goals and 18 points, a whopping 241 minutes in penalties and was a +9. At the trade deadline in 1989-90, Kevin was sent to the Philadelphia Flyers. That brief stop was followed by a return engagement with the Leafs that concluded in 1991-92. In 260 regular season NHL games, Kevin Maguire earned 59 points and collected 782 penalty minutes. Following his playing career, Maguire pursued a career as a referee and returned to the NHL as an on-ice official in 1999-2000.
