Countdown to event Toronto 10.01.16

Former Maple Leaf Cory Cross has joined the Scotiabank® Road Hockey To Conquer Cancer team!
One of the only players to be drafted into the NHL from Canadian intercollegiate hockey, Cory Cross starred with the University of Alberta before being drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 1992. After spending parts of six seasons with the Lightning, Cory was traded to Toronto, where he spent three seasons as a Maple Leaf. The defenceman then signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers, but was traded to the Edmonton Oilers shortly afterwards. In March 2006, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and concluded his 12th NHL season as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.
